Teacher

There is balance between positive encouragement and constructive feedback. There is power in letting go; enabling students to make their own discoveries under thoughtful guidance. There is  care in pushing students beyond their presumed limits. There is love in sharing this wondrous art form with every person - no matter age or ability.

As teacher, director and theatre manager, I built a robust, vibrant, challenging theatre program which included three major productions a year with four full-time classes with an emphasis on the International Baccalaurete Diploma program.  My students won state and national awards in acting, costuming, playwriting and theatre education and many now work full-time in the industry.

Working with Dulcie was a blessing to my personal development as a performer. Her style, as a director, encourages actors to bring their own creativity and life experience to life in their characters with minimal boundaries and clear vision. Her experience in theatre education, production, and marketing completes the package that makes her a force in the Northern Colorado theatre community.
